The calorie tracker
you talk to

Type it, say it, or snap it. Macroz finds the real food, logs the real serving, and checks in each week to keep your targets honest.

Say what you ate, the way you’d tell a friend. Macroz does the counting.

How it works

The app in real screens
Macroz on iPhone, with “Two eggs, a slice of sourdough and a little butter” typed into the chat bar. The day’s chat in Macroz: each message becomes a logged food, like Eggs and Toast at 298 calories and Chicken Noodle Soup at 408.

01 · Log it

Type it, say it, snap it

Write what you ate in plain words, hold the mic and say it, or take a photo of the plate. Scan the barcode on anything in a package. Macroz finds the real food and builds the plate.

A Salmon Dinner plate in Macroz: salmon fillet 5 oz, roasted potatoes 1 cup and broccoli 1 cup, 505 calories in all. Today in Macroz: four meals with their calories, and a draft plate of Eggs and Toast waiting above the chat bar.

02 · Check it

Real food, real servings

Each food comes with a real serving and its own numbers: 5 oz of salmon, a cup of potatoes, two large eggs. Tap any amount to change it, and the plate keeps up.

The weekly check-in in Macroz: “You lost 0.5 lb this week. You aimed for 0.8 lb,” with the week’s days charted against the target. Next week’s proposal: 2,206 calories a day, with protein, carbs and fat, and a choice to use it or keep 2,200.

03 · Adjust

A weekly check-in

Once a week, Macroz looks at what you ate and what you weighed, asks about anything missing, and proposes next week’s target. You choose whether to use it.
